A new multi-brand storefront is opening in Dumbo. L’Ensemble, a boutique known for it’s unique design and globally curated pieces, has officially opened it’s doors in the Brooklyn neighborhood.
L’Ensemble, founded by Dawn Nguyen, brings together a beautifully curated mix of womenswear, menswear, and home objects. The storefront, designed by Patrick Bozeman and Edgar González, features not only clothing but immaculately curated design elements as well. The boutique feels warm and elevated, featuring walnut chairs and smoked glass coffee tables that sit alongside wool curtain-draped fitting rooms by Nordic Knots and wood sculptures by Chandler McLellan.
As for clothing, the boutique feels like your fashionable friends beautifully curated wardrobe, featuring brands like Guest in Residence by Gigi Hadid, Proenza Schouler, Y’s by Yohji Yamamoto, Wales Bonner, and Homme Plissé Issey Miyake.
“We are thrilled to move into our new location in DUMBO—a neighborhood which embodies the vibrant and sophisticated spirit of our brand,” says Dawn Nguyen, Founder of L’Ensemble. “It’s inspiring to be a part of DUMBO’s creative community. We opened in April 2024 with a showroom concept, then hosted a holiday pop-up a block away at 99 Water Street in December 2024–both experiences exceeded our expectations. This new space will allow us to strengthen our relationships with neighbors, as well as new and loyal clients who live and work in the area. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to our new home.”
L’ensemble joins a growing community of design stores that have recently entered Dumbo, making it New York City’s newest design destination.

L’Ensemble isn’t just a place to peruse as you find yourself in the Dumbo neighborhood, though. The boutique aims to cater to each individual clients needs, offering guests services including styling advice and wardrobe building. At L’Ensemble, you’ll find high-end designer like Proenza Schouler artfully displayed alongside more modestly priced, up-and-coming brands like Mfpen and Loulou de Saison.
