While Paris Haute Couture may have captured the spotlight last week, Sundance Film Festival 2025 was happening concurrently. Following their Park City screenings, here are some of the films we’re most excited to watch once they’re out in theaters.
Sorry, Baby by Eva Victor

Eva Victor, a fixture in the NYC comedy scene, made her feature film debut at Sundance with Sorry, Baby, a film she wrote, directed, and stars in. According to Deadline, A24 acquired the film for a reported $8M. As the winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award in the US Dramatic category, it’s undoubtedly one of the standout hits of this year’s festival.
Atropia by Hailey Gates

Hailey Gates premiered her directorial debut, Atropia, which stars Alia Shawkat, Callum Turner, Chloë Sevigny and Tim Heidecker. Known for her acting roles in Challengers and Uncut Gems, Gates brings a unique vision to this war satire. The film follows an aspiring actress at a military role-playing facility who falls for a soldier cast as an insurgent, with their unscripted emotions threatening to derail the performance. Produced by Luca Guadagnino, Atropia took home the Dramatic Grand Jury Prize, making it one of the most anticipated films of the year.
Bunnylovr by Katarina Zhu

Co-produced by and co-starring Rachel Sennott (who wore Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2001 to the premiere), Bunnylovr is the debut feature from Katarina Zhu, who also wrote and directed the film. The story centers on Rebecca, a cam girl navigating a toxic client relationship while reconnecting with her estranged, dying father.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You by Mary Bronstein

“With her life literally crashing down around her, Linda attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.” If I Had Legs I’d Kick You has already made waves at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival. With a cast that includes Rose Byrne, Conan O’Brien, Danielle Macdonald, Lark White, Ivy Wolk, Daniel Zolghadri, Delaney Quinn and A$AP Rocky, we’re curious to see this one.
