Trend Spotting for Fall 2025 at NYFW

Here's what you'll see next.

As we look ahead to next fall 2025 this fashion month, we can’t help but get excited for all of new inspiration. Trend spotting is always one of our favorite things to do, and what better place to do it than at NYFW? With the New York shows wrapping up for this season, we dove into the latest runway collections to break down what will be shaping the season ahead.

Collina Strada

Always offering an offbeat charm and celebration of individuality, Collina Strada brought an eclectic mix of florals, lace and plaid.

Jane Wade

A cult-favorite for her approach to unconventional office wear, Jane Wade’s M.O. is business professional, with a twist, of course.

Colleen Allen

From designing menswear at The Row to launching her own label, Colleen Allen has quickly become one of the most talked-about independent designers at New York Fashion Week. Based in Brooklyn, her distinct, art history and spirituality-infused designs have gained a cult following. We love her use of velvet this season, solidifying the fabric as a key trend for Fall 2025.

Calvin Klein

For their highly anticipated NYFW return under new creative director Veronica Leoni, Calvin Klein embraced their signature minimalism. And for those who aren’t fans of heels, you’re in luck: flats were the shoe of the show.

Eckhaus Latta

Eckhaus Latta featured leather pieces in collaboration with ECCO.kollektive, such as jackets, elbow-length gloves, tailored pants, bags and skirts.

Khaite

Beloved by fans of The Row, Khaite continues to epitomize the “quiet luxury” trend. The brand focused on rich, darker hues throughout their collection, but made a statement through the use of leopard print across five looks.

Sandy Liang

If there’s one thing Sandy Liang brought to her Fall 2025 capsule (aside from her signature affinity for girlhood and nostalgia, of course), it’s a playful, vibrant color palette. The two standout hues? Lime green and bubblegum pink.

Elena Velez

Titled Leech, Elena Velez’s latest show took a nautical turn, blending her trademark raw aesthetic with a maritime-inspired vision. Show notes described the collection as embodying “both Eve and the Serpent—both the sailor and the siren.” The most prominent color throughout was algae green.

Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen

In line with the ongoing resurgence of medieval fashion, Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen’s NYFW show had a similar feel. The models, only lit by candlelight, wore garments crafted from deadstock, secondhand and discarded fabrics—evoking the Victorian era while walking like ghostly figures of decades past.

Tanner Fletcher

Small polka dots were the print at Tanner Fletcher. This polarizing trend will undeniably be back in full force.

Tory Burch

Mastering chic meets sporty, Tory Burch Fall 2025 was influenced by American sportswear. The collection strikes the perfect balance between comfort and class—offering elevated, put-together pieces that still feel cozy and effortless.
