South Korean K-Pop girl group, Blackpink, took to Buckingham Palace on Tuesday to accompany South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol’s state visit to London, according to Vogue. Looking as royal as ever, the four members of Blackpink stole the show in enchantingly royal ensembles.
An ambassador for Dior, Jisoo wore a stunning black dress from Dior’s 2024 Resort collection. Lisa dawned a blue-toned Georges Hobeika dress, accessorized with a Bulgari necklace, of whom she is an ambassador. Rosé also opted for a black ensemble, paired with black pumps and a black bow in her hair for a feminine touch. In Jennie fashion, she stood out in an all white, bridal-esque ensemble by Lihi Hod.
The foursome stole the show by being awarded honorary MBE’s from King Charles, an honor that hasn’t been bestowed on many, in a moment that went viral due to the band members charming reactions.
While Blackpink has continued to break records this year, the individual members are also making a name for themselves outside of the group. Amongst having an honorary MBE bestowed to her, Rosé also spoke at an Apple Summit with CEO Tim Cook and First Lady Jill Biden. She wore a chic and tailored black power suit while addressing the topic of mental health and social media – perfect for the occasion.
