Jacquemus, known for it’s seductive silhouettes, playful purses and industry leading marketing just announced the opening of their newest boutique in the luxe ski resort, Courchevel. Teased on Instagram last Wednesday and announced shortly thereafter, the new store located in the famed French Alps ski resort will be the brands very first mountain boutique.
Upon entering the boutique you’re met with subtle color and warmth, with the interior of the store matching the resorts tones and energy. The interior of the boutique is minimal and evokes a sense of relaxation and tranquility.
To those who know the brand, Jaqcuemus’ new boutique in Courchevel comes as no surprise. The fashion house, known most widely for it’s clothing, often evokes a desire to travel to famed destinations far and wide. Their shows are undeniably a reflection of the carefree spirit of the brand and a reflection of the founder and designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus.
Courchevel is a catchall for the towns of Courchevel 1300, Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1850. The resort, known for it’s exceptional skiing, exclusivity and seven (yes, seven) Michelin star restaurants, features 23 luxury hotels with a five-star rating. Two of Courchevel’s hotels also have the famed “palace” raking, awarded to only 8 hotels in all of France. The newest Jacquemus boutique is located in the most famed of the Courchevel towns, Courchevel 1850.
Courchevel features a myriad of luxury boutiques, including Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Prada, Hermes and Louis Vuitton. For that reason, amongst many others, Jacquemus will definitely be in good company.
